The student welfare committee of St. John the Baptist’s college of Education plays a pivotal role in fostering a holistic educational environment by actively promoting mental health and well-being, ensuring a safe and inclusive campus, providing academic support and health initiatives, addressing student grievances, encouraging participation in extracurricular activities, facilitating career guidance, and offering support for students with special needs, thereby contributing significantly to the overall development and success of the student.
The Student Welfare Committee looks at avoiding the barriers that may come in the path of a student’s learning process so that they can be qualified professionally at national and international levels. The Student Welfare Committee of SJB is responsible for the general and specific well-being of students. It works for the overall welfare of the student in terms of student development which consists of student development programs, counseling of the students, social, cultural and leadership activities and many more.
