Established in 1995 with the inception of the B.Ed. program, St. John the Baptist’s College of Education has consistently strived for excellence in teacher education. The college’s journey commenced with the construction of a 2350 Square Meter main building in 1997, laying the foundation for a state-of-the-art infrastructure.

Recognizing the evolving needs of the education sector, the college introduced the M.Ed. program in 2007, further expanding its academic offerings. This expansion necessitated the construction of an additional 2241 Square Meter building dedicated to the M.Ed. program.

With a total built-up area of 4591 square meters across two well-maintained blocks, St. John the Baptist’s College of Education boasts an impressive physical infrastructure. The institution meticulously adheres to the guidelines and standards set by the NCTE, UGC, Government, and the University, ensuring a conducive learning environment.

The college provides a comprehensive range of facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, comfortable staff rooms, a well-stocked library, a modern computer lab, language and media labs, technology and science labs, a psychology lab, a counseling room, a physical education room, a work experience room, a first-aid room, an auditorium, a conference hall, guest rooms, prayer rooms, a canteen, a kitchen, ample parking space, Principal room, Bursar room, IQAC romm and administrative offices.
