MEDIA CLUB

The Media Club in the college aims to enhance the professional and creative skills of future educators through the effective use of media and technology. It serves as a platform for documenting college events, producing high-quality multimedia content, and promoting media literacy. By organizing competitions, workshops, and awareness classes on contemporary media, the club fosters creativity, critical thinking, and technical proficiency. It also encourages responsible and ethical use of media, preparing teacher trainees to integrate these skills into their teaching practices. Ultimately, the Media Club strives to create a dynamic learning environment that supports the continuous growth and innovation of future educators.

Objectives

  • To equip teacher trainees with the necessary skills to use media and technology effectively in the classroom.
  • To teach future educators how to incorporate a variety of media resources into their lesson plans to support diverse learning styles.
  • To foster an environment for ongoing professional growth and adaptation to new media trends and technologies.
  • To educate future teachers on the ethical and responsible use of media in education, including issues related to copyright, digital citizenship, and privacy.
  • To train members to capture quality photos and videos of college events, workshops, and activities to create a visual archive.
  • To develop skills in editing and producing multimedia content, such as event highlight reels, photo galleries, and videos.
  • To organize and conduct competitions related to photography, videography, and digital storytelling to foster creativity and technical skills among participants.
  • To conduct classes and sessions to raise awareness about contemporary media trends, digital literacy, and the impact of media on society.
